This sort of innovative thinking and design is the difference between liking your car or loving the new Sorento.
The new Sorento has a long list of features to keep you and your family safe at all times. A Rear Parking Assist System and Rear View Camera are helpful when parking. Should you stretch the new Sorento’s legs the increased size of the front brake discs is essential to slow down quickly and smoothly. An Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, a Brake Assist System, Cornering Brake Control, Electronic Stability Control, a Traction Control System are all standard.
The new Sorento features a redesigned front grille and bumper, as well as new Daytime Running Lights now positioned above the new HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlights. These HID headlights replicate natural lighting by emitting 100 colour rays, which results in is reduced eye fatigue and better visibility at night or during bad weather. Cornering lights attached to the remodelled fog lights light up the path you’re about to take as you turn the wheel.
The rear LED combination lights have also been reshaped to give the new Sorento a more sporty and refined look. The extended rear window is larger to allow for better visibility. While the new Sorento takes you forward, you can have a good view of the old technology it’s left behind.
The aggressive styling on the outside is complemented by a luxurious interior. “Soft touch” material on the fascia and centre console means that the Sorento is a more like a velvet fist in an iron glove. Leather upholstery means that the seats are naturally comfortable. But we didn’t stop there; sometimes nature needs some help.
Built-in ventilation and heat functionality in the front seats of the AWD model results in maximum comfort at all times. Increased headroom, legroom and cargo capacity leads to a much roomier interior and make the difference between feeling as free as the wind or as battered as a flag.
The new Sorento has feature after feature. The Start/Stop button is standard on the All-Wheel Drive model, while a Smart Key ensures effortless vehicle entry and exit at all times. All the technology we put into reducing road noise is there to soothe the soul, but sometimes the music needs to set the mood. The new Sorento features a radio with CD and MP3 player with USB and iPod connectivity.
The panoramic sunroof on the AWD model has been updated from a two-piece roller blind to a one-piece roller blind, creating a vast sense of space and freedom.
